Locations Needed for Movies/TV!!
Hello All, (These must be in Nassau County)
1) For a Chapstick, commercial - July 19, 20 or 21. From the scout: They're loving the south shore beaches, but they don't like the large scale fishing piers I'm showing them. They're asking for a smaller, more rustic, dock, like in the layout I've attached. Do you know any people who might have a small dock behind their house, who would entertain a photo shoot for 6 hours? Or maybe a private boat club with a little dock?
If you have any referrals, please refer to "Chaptick Hutch"
2) Looking for abandoned buildings for a short film, "5th & Lexington." Mid August. Please refer to "Fifth & Lexington"
3) For small audio visual project for an artist, needs a body of water with no waves, and where you cannot see land when you look up from it. Probably North Shore, but can't be terribly expensive. Please refer to "Spence." 2nd week in August
4) TV series Pam Am is looking for an Italian Villa. July 21 - 22. Please refer to "Pan Am."
5) For a TJ Max Commercial - needs a store that would point to a street or to a courtyard. Could be an empty car dealership. Needs natural light. Needs to be big enough to be a TJ Max store. Please refer to "TJ Maxx Staudt" Juuly 20 - 22.
6)for TV Pilot "Promo Discover" they need a 1950 working class house - one level with a garage and a big backyard. Please refer to "Discover" July 13 - 15.
Thank you, and have a wonderful and safe holiday!
Best,
Debbie

Hello All, (These must be in Nassau County)
A modern courthouse/room is needed for a pilot for a new USA television series - "A Legal Mind." (Not yet cast) They will need more courtrooms over the year, but one for one day for the pilot around mid-September.
For a foreign, independent feature, "Mamarosh," they're looking for government looking offices to look like customs and immigration offices. Also, an upscale loft with a filmable kitchen. Only a couple of days each mid-September.
This is a fun one, for feature film, "Man on a Ledge," they need to have a car drive parallel to a string of freight trains. The car then turns into the train and gets hit by it. So clearly, we need enough room next to a train for the car to drive, and a very friendly rail line.
If you have any suggestions, please e-mail debfilm@aol.com and reference the job name.
Thank you.

Locations Needed for TV/Commercials
Hello all, (These need to be in Nassau County).
Locations needed:
1) Scouting Tuesday and Wednesday for an empty house for a Loews commercial. The gag is that everything that can go wrong with a do it yourself.. (like water spraying from a pipe). Should be a home with character - probably older and tasteful, but a money pit or fixer upper. Know of any homes or a film friendly broker/developer? Shooting next Thrusday.
2) Need a large event space, but with character for television series, "Lights Out." They will stage a boxing event there - so it should be able to hold 200 extras and about 100 crew. Not looking for empty space, but something with character.
3) For a web commercial, I believe for a John Grisham book, they looking for a huge empty area. They already have Grumman Studios in the their file, and I sent them to the Freeport Armonry. Any suggestions.
If you have any suggestions, please e-mail debfilm@aol.com.
Thank you!
Debbie
