Small Claims Court
Dear Court Clerk:
This letter is to introduce you to ________________________ a member of the Fox television show “JUDGE ALEX” (Twentieth Century
Fox). The Case Researcher will be engaged in the research for the development and production of the show.
Judge Alex Ferrer is a former Police Officer and Florida Circuit Court judge. He is the host of "Judge Alex" a respected courtroom strip show now starting it's sixth season from Twentieth Television.
Judge Alex is the only television judge with extensive police, legal and judicial experience, presiding over a wide array of cases, resolving complicated issues with his straight forward approach and cogent rulings.
Judge Alex was voted the most trustworthy face in daytime television.
Specifically, we are requesting that we be allowed to see the public record filings (in accordance with the Open Records Act) of small claims and civil cases that have not yet been heard in court. It is our hope that we can do this research on a day appointed by your office. Please note that we will review the cases on the premises only.
We will try not to disrupt your routine or your files, and would appreciate your help in this matter.
Thank you very much for your assistance and please feel free to contact me anytime if you have any questions or concerns.
Sincerely,
Hedda Muskat-Case Producer
